King’s Walk & Lincoln Golf Courses are expanding access to the game through adaptive golf equipment, including the VertaCat Mobility Rider available at King’s Walk and a Wheelchair‑Accessible Golf Cart available at Lincoln Golf Course. These additions reflect our commitment to inclusive recreation by helping golfers at any level of ability enjoy independent, meaningful access to the course.

Available for use at King’s Walk Golf Course in June 2026, the VertaCat mobility rider is an adaptive vehicle designed to help golfers with mobility challenges to stand, position themselves over the ball, and fully participate in the game. The Vertacat was made possible through a generous donation from NDAD to the Grand Forks Park District.

All users of the VertaCat Mobility Rider are required to view training videos and operational safety instructions before using the vehicle.

Free VertaCat Rental
The Vertacat Mobility Cart was made possible through a generous donation from NDAD to the Grand Forks Park District. There is no fee for using the cart at King’s Walk Golf Course, Practice Greens, or Driving Range.
Green Fee Scholarship Fund
All green fees for users of the Vertacat Mobility Cart will be covered by a generous scholarship fund, provided by NDAD. Please ask at the Golf Shop to utilize the scholarship fund during Vertacat usage.
Lincoln Golf Course now offers the Buddy Cart, a Wheelchair‑Accessible Golf Cart, expanding access for golfers with mobility challenges to ride along and enjoy the game of golf. The Buddy Cart was made possible through the Albatross Buddy Classic Fundraiser.
